HK$3,800.00
Sold

Stainless steel frame on hand-painted wood sculptures, mounted acrylic on canvas | One of a kind

  • Metric (mm): 380 x 330 x 38mm

  • Imperial (inches): 14.96 x 12.99 x 1.50 inches

Fishy Washy (Kois) II captures the serene harmony of two kois swimming side by side—crafted in stainless steel and hand-painted wood. Their graceful dance evokes balance, unity, and fluidity, with each detail meticulously designed to bring the beauty of nature to life.

Mounted on a striking red, white, and blue hand-painted pattern, this piece echoes the bold visual language of urban Hong Kong while paying homage to the intersection of high and low art. The fluidity of the kois contrasts with the dynamic geometry of the pattern, creating a visual harmony that is both calming and captivating.

This one-of-a-kind artwork celebrates tranquility through movement, making it an eye-catching and meaningful addition to any space.

Pin Drop Moments is a collection of emblems — of layered identities, collective belonging, and cultural dialogues. Inspired by the humble enamel pin, each piece is scaled up and sculpted into wall-worthy statements that are playful, glossy, and unexpected. They are reminders of your moments of transformation and evolution.

This series celebrates the "in-between": High meets low (pop culture and traditional craft, fine art and street signage), East meets West (Hong Kong motifs reimagined through diasporic eyes), and Strength meets softness (hands that hold, arms that twist, knots that hug.)

The works live in the overlap of memory and material: repurposed denim, neon acrylic, lacquered steel and wood. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, with no reproductions. They're meant to feel like discoveries — pins you didn’t know you were collecting until you stood still and looked.

About the Artist

I’m Erin Hung — an artist, illustrator and mental health advocate based in Hong Kong. My work is often a reflection of healing, identity, and reclaiming joy. This collection draws on my love of metaphor and nostalgia to make space for humour, beauty, and emotional honesty. My hope is that these pieces spark something in you — a giggle, a pause, a personal pin drop moment of your own.
